Everybody loves to travel. Many of us believe we do it in an environmentally friendly way, but is it really? How can we get around without harming nature?
One way is shared travel. This is how several people get around in one car and we get rid of the familiar "Seko got in a car and squealed". The downside - we have to take other people into account.
Another way is the bicycle. This transport combines getting around and sport. But not everyone can get far on a bike, and the sight of a cyclist on a highway can drive even the calmest driver crazy.
A new trend in Bulgaria is the electric car for intercity travel. It's easy to organise, doesn't harm nature and gives you wide access to all points in the country. Charging is free. Parking is also free. Charging stations are appearing in more and more places, as well as at quite a few petrol stations. And while your car is filling up, you can explore a number of places you wouldn't otherwise go specifically. Because you would hardly organise a special trip to visit the History Museum in Isperich or the Konstantin Velichkov House Museum in Pazardzhik.
