Presentation of the project "Park Mark"
In BLD's "Urban Trends" section, we introduce you to the people, ideas and trends that are changing the city for the better. Today our guest is Elenko Elenkov, founder of the sports club "Runner " - a non-profit association created to develop running and cardio sports, as well as mass and sports culture and amateur sports in our country.
As one of the main activists for the promotion of running in urban conditions, Elenko is one of the founders of the club, takes care of sponsor relations and the organization of the events of "Runner". He has over 10 years of experience as an IT project manager. An avid cyclist and modest runner (ran his first marathon in 2003), he can also swim recently.
He and I talk about running events in Sofia, people who practice the sport in Bulgaria, places for sport in the city, races, and an upcoming project - Park Mark, which will present and promote the routes and conditions for running in Sofia, with the support of BLD.
